State of Florida } The Arbitrators to whom was referred the matters
Alachua County } between J.M. Hawthorn A.H. Johnson and J.M. Hunter
relating to the division of a certain parcel or tract of land designated on
the Aradonda grant map as the East 1/2 of sec 22 secs 23,24 & 25 have
made the following as a division, viz.
A.H. Johnson is to have one half of all the cleared Hammock land on
the tracts of land mentioned his one half bounded and described as follows
his northern boundary is the line running East & West of the northern boundary
of secs 23 & 24 and terminating with sixteen & 1/2 acres of Hammock in
the North end of sec 25, the line to run East & West. J.M. Hunter is to have
all the cleared land on sec 25 except the sixteen & 1/2 acres mentioned above
the balance of sec 25 or the uncleared Hammock land on said sec, is to
be equally divided between A.H. Johnson & James M. Hunter giving Johnson the
advantage of all the uncleared Hammock land on sec 22 or in other words
the No of acres of uncleared Hammock on sec 22 is to be deducted
from Hunters share of the uncleared Hammock on sec 25, each part is to
the other the right of way through the lands of each other, A.H. Johnson
is also to have a strip of and one acre deep running West thence North
to the northern boundary of sec 23 the line running West to begin at the
South East corner of field on the west side of the lane and the line
running north to begin at the sec line on sec 23 south and run North
to the northern boundary of sec 23. J.M. Hunter and A.H. Johnson is each to
have the roads on their respective places as claimed now and also the use
of all houses and cabins on the places for the year 1869, with the priv=
ilege of them off if they see proper at the expiration of present year
A.H. Johnson is to have all the land on sec 23, East of the line running
North on said sec and J.M. Hunter is to have all the land on said sec 23,
west of line running north on sec 23 J.M. Hunter is to have all the land
on sec 22, In witness to the above we the referees have hereunto
set our hands and affixed our seal this 25th day of Jany 1869

County of Alachua } Before me personally came M. McCarroll one
of the above arbitrators who being duly sworn says that the fore=
going is in substance the agreement which he and the other arbitrators
agreed to make of the said land before described and that he and
J.M. Croxton, James A. Turner and Calvin Waits signed the original
of which this purports to be a copy, and says that he does not known this
paper of said agreement
to be the original^but that it contains the substance of the said Original
Agreement or partition } M. McCarroll
