Alachua County } This Indenture made and entered into this the fourth
day of June AD Eighteen hundred and seventy Seven Samuel C.
Tucker Sheriff of Alachua County Florida party of the first part,
And M.M. Graddick party of the second part, Witnesseth; That whereas
I, the said Samuel C. Tucker as Sheriff aforesaid under and by virtue
of an Execution issued out of a Justices Court in and for said
County John G. Faulkner one of the acting Justices of the Peace
in and for the County of Alachua in the State of Florida in favor
of J.H. Stokes and against H.P. Graddick, and to any lawful officer of
said County directed, I did levy upon and Seize the property herein=
after described as the property of the said H.P. Graddick the defendant
to Satisfy said execution and did advertise the Same for sale on the
Monday the 4th day of June AD 1877, according to law, and did
pursuant to Said levy and advertisement sell the said property
hereinafter described on the Said 4th day of June AD 1877, at public
Auction before the Court House door in the Town of Gainesville in
the County and State aforesaid between the legal hours
of sale and whereas M.M. Graddick became the purchaser of the
property hereinafter described for the Sum of Sixty three dollars
and thirty four Cents ($63\34) that being the highest and best Sum
bid for the Same and the said M.M. Graddick being the bidder there=
of. Now therefore know ye that I, the Said Samuel C. Tucker as
Sheriff aforesaid under and by virtue of the said execution and the
levy advertisement and sale thereunder made and for and in consid
eration of the said Sum of Sixty three dollars & thirty four cents, I have
granted bargained sold and Conveyed and do by these presents grant
bargain Sell and Convey unto the said M.M. Graddick and to her
heirs and assigns forever all the following described property
