State of Florida } This Indenture made on this third day of Feb
Alachua County   } in the year one Thousand Eight hundred and
seventy seven between J. Adger Clark of the first part and N.A. Bailey of
the second part; Witnesseth, That for and in consideration of the sum
of one thousand dollars to him paid in hand at and before
the sealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, the said party of the first part hath given
granted bargained sold and delivered, and by these presents
does so give grant bargain sell and deliver to the said party
of the second part the following described parcel of land
That is to say Commencing at a stake at the Road leading
from Micanopy to Palatka immediately on the section
line that crosses said road running North and south, known
as section twenty nine of Township eleven and range twenty
one and running thence North Eight hundred and Thirty 
yards to a stake on said line thence East along the Edge of
pond known as Fish Pond to a stake, Thence south to a
stake, thence West to point of beginning so that the same
shall contain seventy acres of land within the said boundary
containing building and improvements now occupied by
J.D. Johnson in the County and State aforesaid, and to have
and to hold the above described, conveyed parcel of land to=
gether with the improvements and appurtenances to the same
belonging or in any way appertaining unto the said party of
the second part his heirs, executors and administrators and
assigns in fee simple forever.
                         And the said party of the first
part for himself his heirs, executors and administrators
covenants and assigns with the said party of the second part
his heirs and executors administrators and assigns, That he
is in fee of the premises as aforesaid, That they are free from
all encumbrances that he has good right to sell and convey
the same to the said party of the second part and that he will
warrant and defend the title to the same against the legal
and Equitable claims and demands of all persons, The party of
the first part further by these presents In testimony whereof has
hereunto set his hand and seal and affixed the same on the
day and year first above written.
