County of Alachua } This Indenture made this the twelfth day
of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
Seventy six between W.W. Scott the party of the first part, and
Eli Futch the party of the second part.
Witnesseth that the party of the first part for and in con=
sideration of the sum of thirty two dollars $32.00 to him in hand
paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bar=
gain sell and convey to the party of the second part all that cer=
tain tract or parcel of land known and described as the NE1/4 of
SW1/4 of section 13 Township 7 Range Eighteen (18) East, contain=
ing forty acres more or less situated in the County of Alachua
in the State of Florida to have and to hold the said premises
together with the improvements and the appurtenances thereto
belonging or in any wise appertaining to the said party of the
first
second part his heirs and assigns Executors and administrators
forever in "fee simple" And the said party of the first part do
covenant and agree to and with the party of the second part to
warrant and defend the title to the party of the second part his heirs
and assigns against the claim or claims of any and all persons whom-
soever.
In witness whereof the said party of the first part hath hereunto

foregoing deed of conveyance) Mary E. Scott wife of W.W. Scott
who being interogated separate and apart from, without any fear
of her husband she saith that she by these presents she doth relin=

premises believing the same to be right to be done.
