This Indenture made the twentieth day of February in the year of
our Lord on thousand Eight hundred and seventy six between
Mary L. Earle wife of Elias Earle of the County of Alachua
State of Florida in her own right, and the said Elias Earle, parties
of the first part, and George C. Rixford and Charles K. Dutton
both of the County of Suwannee State of Florida, parties of the
Second part: Witnesseth: that the said parties of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of Three Thousand Dollars law-
ful money of the United States of America to them in hand by
the said parties of the second part at or before the ensealing
and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby ac-
knowledged and confessed have granted, sold, aliened, rem-
ised, released, and conveyed, and by these presents do, grant, 
bargain, sell, alien, remise, release, convey and confirm, unto
the said parties of the second part, and their heirs and assigns
forever all those certain lots, tracts or parcels of land lying
being and situate in the County of Alachua State of Florida
particularly known and described on the public Maps of
said State as follows that is to say: All that portion of Lot Four
(4) of section twenty eight (28) lying East of a line running
parallel with and two hundred and twenty (220) yards East
from the legal dividing line between Lot Three (3) of said
Section twenty eight (28) and said Lot Four (4) containing
about thirty (30) acres more or less: also the South half of the
South East quarter of the North East quarter of section Thirty two
(32) containing Twenty (20) acres more or less: Also all that por-
tion of the East half of the South West quarter of said Section
Thirty two (32) lying south of what is known as "Earle Avenue"
(which said Avenue extends from the present residence of 
General Elias Earle through said East half of the South West
quarter of section Thirty two (32) in a direction nearly due
West) and contains about Forty (40) acres more or less: Also
lots numbered One (1) Two (2) Three (3) and the south half of lot
numbered Four (4) of section Thirty three (33) containing together
one hundred and forty (140) acres more or less: Also (where
legally subdivided) the North half of Lot numbered Two (2)
of section Thirty four (34) containing about Thirty Six (36)
acres more or less: all of which said several lots, tracts or
parcels of Land are in Township Eight (8) South of Range
Twenty two (22) East and containing in the aggregate about Two 
Hundred and sixty six (266) acres more or less.
