Alachua County } Whereas I Louis A. Barnes as Sheriff of Al-
achua County Florida under and by virtue of Sundry writs of Fieri-
Facias in favor of James S. Turner and others and against J.H. Roper
issued out of the Circuit Court for Alachua County in the 5th
Judicial Circuit of Florida to me as Such Sheriff directed
and delivered, I did levy upon and Seize the property herein
the Said
after described as the property of^J.H. Roper the defendant
to Satisfy Said Sundry Executions and did duly advertise the Said
property hereinafter described for Sale on the seventh day of Feb=
ruary AD and did Sell the Same on the Said 7th day of
February AD 1876 at public auction before the Court House door
in the town of Gainesville between the legal hours of Sale and
whereas at Said Sale Mrs S.R. Barnes became the purchaser of
that particular portion of property as hereinafter described
for the Sum of One and 50/100 Dollars that being the highest
and best Sum bid for the Same and she being the bidder
thereof.
Now therefore Know Ye that I the said Louis A. Barnes as Sher-
iff as aforesaid under and by virtue of said Sundry writs of
