State of Florida} This Indenture made this twentieth day of
Alachua County  } June AD Eighteen hundred and Seventy Seven
between Thomas E. Haile of Alachua County State of Florida of the
one part and J.T. McMillan of Alachua County State of Florida
of the other part witnesseth that the said Thomas E. Haile for and
in consideration of the Sum of one hundred and ninety nine 83/100
Dollars in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged
has granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents
does grant bargain sell and convey unto the said James T. Mc
Millan his administrators executors heirs and assigns all that
piece parcel or tract of land Situated lying and being in Alachua
County State of Florida and described as follows: Forty - acres more
or less in section 19 Township 10 Range 19E commencing at a stake
on or at the Southwest Corner and running East twenty chains,
from thence North twenty chains, thence West twenty chains
thence South to the starting point or corner stake twenty chains, to-
gether with all the privileges and all things appurtaining thereto
and all the estate right title and interest of him the said Thomas
E. Haile in and thereto To have and to hold the said messuage
and all the appurtenances thereof to him the said James T. McMil-
lan his administrators executors heirs and assigns to his and their
proper use and behoof forever.
  In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal
this twentieth day of June AD 1877.
