This Indenture made this the       of Feby AD 1871 between
John L. Sparkman of the County of Alachua & State of Florida
of the first part and Thomas Tillis of the same County & State of
the second part. Witnesseth: That Jno L. Sparkman as aforesaid
for and in consideration of Fifty Dollars lawful money to
him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowle-
dged, Hath bargained sold granted and conveyed, and doth
by these presents grant bargain sell & convey unto Thomas Tillis
as aforesaid, The following premises to wit all of Lot number
Seven of Block number Eight situate & being in the Town of
Waldo Alachua County State of Florida and as is more fully
described in the survey & plat of said Town to which reference
is herein made.
Together with all and singular the rights tenements hered-
itaments improvements and appurtenances thereon and there-
in any wise belonging.
To have and to hold the said conveyed premises together with all
and singular the rights tenements hereditaments and improve-
ments and appurtenances thereon and thereto belonging unto the 
said Thomas Tillis his heirs and assigns fee simple forever
and the said Jno L. Sparkman for himself his executors and
administrators doth by these presents warrant and defend the
rights possessions and quiet improvements of the premises
aforesaid unto the said Thomas Tillis his heirs and assigns
against the legal claims interest and title of all possessions
and every person claiming the same by through or under
his, The said Jno L. Sparkman his executors and administra
tors forever.
In Witness whereof the said Jno L. Sparkman as aforesaid here-
to set my hand and affix my seal the day & year above mentioned
