                    This Indenture made this ninth day of March
in the year one thousand eight hundred and Seventy Seven, Between
W. Lassiter of the State of Florida and County of Alachua of the
first part and W.F. Rice of the State of Florida and County of Alach-
ua of the second part, Witnesseth, that the said party of the first
part, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and
twenty five dollars to him in hand paid by the said party of the 
second part, at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained,
sold, aliened, remised, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by
these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, remise, release, convey
and confirm unto the said party of the second part, and to his
heirs and assigns, forever, All the South half of the south half of
Lot No 11 (eleven) of Brushes Addition to Gainesville being one hun-
dred (100) feet north and south by two hundred (200) feet East and
west
To have and to Hold the said Lot or piece of Land together with
all and singular the rights, members, and appurtenances thereto in
anywise appurtaining or belonging, to the only proper use, benefit and
behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, in
Fee Simple, forever
And the said party of the first part will, and his heirs executors
and administrators shall, the above granted premises unto the party
of the second part his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns
forever warrant and Defend by virtue of these presents.
In Witness Whereof, the said party of the first part has hereunto set
his hand and seal the day and year above written
