a party to, and executed, the foregoing Deed of Conveyance, for the purpose
of Relinquishing all my Right of Dower in and to the Lands in said Con-
veyance described and granted, and that I did the Same freely and
voluntarily, and without any constraint, compulsion, apprehension, or
fear of or from my said husband.
On Witness Whereof, I hereunto subscribe my name and affix
my seal, this 18th day of November, AD One thousand Eight hun-

County of Alachua } To All whom it may Concern: Be it Known that on
this 18th day of November, AD 1876 personally appeared before me,
a Justice of the Peace of the State of Florida, the above named Mrs S.E.
Sparkman to me well known as the wife of P.W.W. Sparkman and as
one of the persons described in and who executed the foregoing
Deed of Conveyance, who being at the time Separate and apart from
her husband, the Said P.W.W. Sparkman, did then and there
make and execute the foregoing acknowledgment, her name being
with her own hand Subscribed, and her Seal affixed in my pres-
ence. Witness my hand and Seal at Waldo, the day and year above

                   On this day personally appeared before me
P.W.W. Sparkman and his wife to me well known as the persons
described in, and who executed the foregoing Deed of Conveyance,
and acknowledged that they executed the Same for the purpose
therein expressed: whereupon it is prayed that the Same may be
recorded.

This Indenture, Made and entered into on this the fourth day of
July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Seventy Seven,
Between The Florida Land and Immigration Company, a body
Corporate under the Laws of the State of Florida, party of the first
part, and Joseph J. Hazard of the City of Chicago County of Cook
and State of Illinoise party of the Second part, witnesseth:
That the Said party of the first part, for and in consideration of
the Sum of Fifty dollars lawful money of the United States of America,
to it in hand paid by the Said party of the Second part at or before the
ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is here-
by acknowledged, has given, granted, aliened, bargained, Sold, trans-
ferred, conveyed and confirmed, and does by these presents give, grant,
