State of Florida } Whereas under and by virtue of an execu-
Alachua County   } tion issued out of the Circuit Court of Alachua 
County in the 5th Judicial Circuit of Florida on the 4th day
of April AD 1872, Wherein Samuel B. McLin was plaintiff
and Frank Olmstead as administrator of Mary E. Dell decd was
defendant, and to me Louis A. Barnes as Sheriff of said Alachua
County directed I did levy upon the real estate hereinafter 
described, and I did duly advertise the Same for Sale under said
execution to Satisfy the Same according to Law on this 5th day of
February AD 1877, and did on this Said 5th day of February AD
1877 as Such Sheriff of Alachua County Fla under and by virtue
of said execution pursuant to Said advertisement actually
Sell the property hereinafter described at public outcry before
the Court House door in the town of Gainesville Florida during
the legal hours of Sale according to Law and Whereas at
Said Sale James B. Brown of Gainesville Florida became 
the purchaser of said property hereinafter described at the
Sum of One hundred dollars that being the highest and 
last Sum bid at Said Sale for Said property and he being 
the bidder thereof. Now therefore, Know all men by these
presents that I the Said Louis A. Barnes as such Sheriff of
Alachua County, under and by virtue of and in pursuance
of said Execution and the Said levy and Sale thereunder
made, for and in Consideration of the Said Sum of One hun-
dred Dollars to me in hand paid by him the Said James B. Brown
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained 
Sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant, bargain, Sell and con-
vey unto him the Said James B. Brown the following property
to wit: Lots Seven (7) and Eight (8) in Block Four (4) in Range
Three Situated in the town of Newnansville Alachua County,
Florida, Also fractional part of the SW1/4 of Section Eleven (11)
Township Eight (8) Range Eighteen 918) South & East, particularly
described as follows: Commencing at the North East Corner of
land in said town of Newnansville Florida, owned by Margaret
Exley on the Lake City Road, running south Three hundred
and Seventy (370) feet: thence east two hundred and ten (210) feet
thence North one hundred and fourteen (114) feet: thence East
two hundred and forty (240) feet to a ditch or drain, thence
North Twenty (20) feet to point of commencement together with
all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenan-
ces to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining -
To Have and to Hold the same to him the Said James B. Brown
and to his heirs, executors administrators and assigns 
in fee Simple forever as fully as I the Said Sheriff might 
could or ought to Sell and Convey the Same under and by
virtue of said Execution levy, advertisement and Sale
thereunder made
In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and 
affixed my Seal on this 5th day of February AD 1877
