State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into this the 6th day of 
Alachua County   } August AD 1877 between S.C. Tucker Sheriff of Alachua
County State of Florida of the first part and Archibald Hague of the
Second part Witnesseth, that whereas I the Said S.C. Tucker as Sheriff 
as aforesaid under and by virtue of an execution issued out of the Circuit 
Court for Alachua County in the Fifth Judicial Circuit of Florida
in favor of Matilda S. Brown as administratrix of the estate of George 
L. Brown deceased and against David A. Friar, and to me as such
Sheriff directed and delivered, I did levy upon and Seize the property 
hereinafter described as the property of the said David A. Friar the defen-
dant to Satisfy Said Execution and did duly and legally advertise the 
Same for Sale on the 6th day of August AD 1877 the Same being the 
the first Monday in Said month and did persuant to Said levy 
and advertisement Sell the Same at public auction before the Court
House door in the town of Gainesville in the County and State afore-
said on the 6th day of August AD 1877, between the legal hours of
Sale and whereas at said Sale Archibald Hague became the pur-
chaser of the Property hereinafter described for the Sum of Fifteen
Dollars that being the highest Sum bid for the Same and he being
the bidder therefor,
Now therefore know ye That I the Said S.C. Tucker as Sheriff as 
aforesaid under and by virtue of the Said Execution and the levy adver-
tisement and Sale thereunder made and for and in consideration of the 
said Sum of Fifteen Dollars to me as Such Sheriff in hand paid by 
the Said Archibald Hague the receipt whereof is hereby acknowl-
edged, I have granted bargained and Sold and by these presents do 
grant bargain Sell and Convey unto the said Archibald Hague
and to his heirs and assigns forever all the following described 
property to wit: Lot Five (5) and South half lot four (4) in
Block three (3) in Range one (1) in the town of Newnansville
in the County and State aforesaid, To Have and to Hold unto him 
the Said Archibald Hague and to his heirs and assigns as 
fully and effectually as I the Said S.C. Tucker as Sheriff as 
aforesaid might Could or ought to Sell and Convey the Same.
