Lot (NÂș 1) Number one of Section Six (6) township nine (9) South
of Range (22) Twenty two East Containing Forty acres more or less. To
have and to hold the above granted premises to the Said Mary E. Russell
her heirs and assigns to hers and their use and behoof forever, and
I the Said James M. Sparkman for myself and my heirs executors and
administrators do covenant with the Said Mary E. Russell her heirs &
assigns that I am lawfully Seized in fee Simple of the aforesaid granted
premises that they are free from all encumbrances and that I have a good
right to Sell and Convey the Same to the Said Mary T. Russell her heirs
and assigns forever as aforesaid and that I will and my heirs
executors and administrators shall warrant and defend the Same
to the Said Mary E. Russell her heirs and assigns forever against the
lawful claims and demand of all persona whatsoever.
In Witness Whereof, I the Said James M. Sparkman and I Sinah
Sparkman wife of the Said James M. Sparkman in token of my
release of all right and title of or to dower in the granted prem-
ises. Have hereunto Set our hands & Seals this 8th day of May AD 1877

Alachua County   } Before me Saml J. Kennard a Justice of the
Peace in and for said County personally appeared James M. Sparkm-
an and his wife Sinah Sparkman with whom I am personally
acquainted and acknowledged that they executed the foregoing Deed
for the purposes therein Contained and the Said Sinah Sparkman
wife of Said James M. Sparkman Separate and apart from her Said
husband, acknowledged that she executed the foregoing instru-
ment of her own free will and accord without fear or Compulsion
from her Said husband. In testimony whereof I have hereunto Set
my hand & Seal of office this 8th day of May AD 1877.

This Indenture, made the 18th day of August in the year of our Lord
one thousand Eight hundred and Seventy Seven, Between W.T. Craig and
Alex Goodson and his wife Celia Goodson of the County of Alachua
State of Florida of the first part, and John Darby of the City of
New York and State of New York of the Second part, witnesseth,
That the Said parties of the first part, for and in Consideration
of the Sum of Seven hundred and Fifty Dollars lawful money of
the United Sataes of America, to them in hand paid by the Said
party of the Second part, at or before the ensealing and deliver-
y of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath
granted, bargained, Sold, aliened, remised, released, conveyed and
