ecuted the foregoing deed: And I further Certify that the said Chris-
tiana Kelly being at the time Separate and apart from her said hus-
band, did acknowledge, under her hand and Seal, that She executed
the foregoing deed of Conveyance to George C. Rixford and Charles
K. Dutton and that she joined in the Same deed for the purpose
of relinquishing and renouncing all dower, or right of dower in and
to the premises described therein, and that said relinquishment and
renunciation of dower was and is made fully and voluntarily and
without any compulsion, or constraint, apprehension or fear of or
from her husband, the said Patrick Kelly.
Witness my hand and Seal, this twenty Second day of Aug-

Marion County    }  This indenture made the Eighteenth day of August
in the year of our lord Eighteen hundred and Seventy Seven between
Malinda C. Hunter of the State and County aforesaid of the first
                       of Alachua County & State aforesaid
part and John H. Stokes of the other part, witnesseth that the Said
Malinda C. Hunter for and in Consideration of the Sum of one
hundred and Seventy two 98/100 Dollars Cash in hand paid by the
said John H. Stokes the receipt is hereby acknowledged, have Sold
and granted and do by these presents Sell and grant unto the
Said John H. Stokes his heirs and assigns a lot of land con-
taining one acre more or less Situated and lying in the town of
Micanopy State of Florida Alachua County, to witt Situated
on the Street known as Hunter Street, half acre on the the South
Side and half acre on the the North Side Said Street, and bounded
on the North by the Ulee lot generally known as the Knox lot on
the East by Livingstons property, on the South by the parsonage
line on the west by the property of Goodnight & James Furgerson
Together with all the rights members and appurtenances to Said
lot of Land belonging to or in any wise appertaining to have and to
hold the said lot of land unto the said John H. Stokes his heirs and
Assigns together with all the rights members and appurtenances to
the said lot of land, and the Said Malinda C. Hunter her heirs
executors and administrators the said Sold and granted premises
unto the said John H. Stokes his heirs and assigns will warrant
and forever defend the rights and titles thereof against them-
selves and against the claims of all other persons whatsoever
In Testimony Whereof the Said Malinda C. Hunter hath here-
unto Set her hand and affixed her Seal this day of twenty third
