County of Alachua } This Indenture made and entered into
this the first day of November AD one thousand eight hun-
dred and Seventy four between James M. Hawthorn of the
State and County aforesaid party of the first part and Parasade
T. Stringfellow wife of R.H. Stringfellow party of the Second
part, the Said Parasade T. Stringfellow being the "Daughter of the
Said James M. Hawthorn of the State and County aforesaid
party of the first part, Witnesseth that the Said party of the
first part for the natural love and affection that he hath and
bears for the Said Parasade T. Stringfellow his Daughter that is
to Say the Daughter of the Said James M. Hawthorn for and
in consideration of the Sum of Seven dollars and fifty Cents
good and lawful money to the Said party of the first part
in hand paid by the Said party of the Second part, at and
before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, The Said party of the first
part hath given granted bargained Sold Conveyed and
Confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain
Sell and Convey unto the Said party of the Second part her heirs
executors and administrators the following described lot or
parcel of land to wit: The South West Quarter of the South
West Quarter and one half of South east quarter of South
West Quarter of Section thirty Six, of township eleven South
of Range twenty two east, the last described lot to be
divided by a direct line to from the North East Corner to the
South West Corner, Also the South East Quarter of the South
East Quarter of Section thirty five Township eleven South of
Range twenty two East Containing in all one hundred acres
more or less.
And it is understood and agreed that her husband
