State of Florida } Whereas I George Smith of the aforesaid
Alachua County   } County and State have utterly and wholly
failed to comply with an agreement made and entered into
by me with P.H. Young of said State and County made
and dated on the first day of February AD 1873, for the
purchase of the following described land, viz: The North half of
Lot No 7, in Section 6, Township 8, South Range 20 East and
the North half of Lot No One in Section one Township (8) South
Range 19 East Containing in all 80 acres of land more or less
Now therefore know all men by these presents that I the Said
George Smith in Consideration of the premises have released
relinquished and forever Surrendered: And by these presents
do release, relinquish and forever Surrender unto him the Said
P.H. Young all rights titles claims or demands which I have
under and by virtue of Said agreement in or over Said lands
above described - and I do hereby further Sell convey and Sur-
render and deliver unto him the Said P.H. Young or to his agent
all Crops of whatsoever kind species or description now growing
or standing or housed or harvested on or off of said land and
every part thereof.
               In Consideration of the foregoing the Said P.H. Young
hereby upon his part releases the Said George Smith from any other
or further liability under said agreement dated as aforesaid on
the 1st day of February AD 1873.
In Witness Whereof we have hereunto Set our hands and affixed
our respective seals on this 17th day of September AD 1877
