Says and acknowledges before me that he Signed Sealed
and delivered the foregoing deed of Conveyance for the
uses and purposes as are therein Contained and expressed

This Indenture, Made the 19th day of September in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and Seventy Seven, between John C.
Eastman (bachelor) party of the first part, and W.J. McCormick
of the Second part, Witnesseth, That the Said party of the first part,
for and in consideration of the Sum of ($128.) one hundred and twenty Eight
Dollars lawful Money of the United States of America, to him in hand
paid by the said party of the Second part, at or before the ensealing
and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowl-
edged, as granted, bargained, Sold, aliened, remised, released,
Conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents does grant, bargain,
Sell, alien, remise, release, convey and confirm unto the Said party of the
Second part, and his heirs and assigns, forever, all that certain
piece parcel or tract of land Situated lying and being in the
County of Alachua, State of Florida, and designated as the
West part of lot No (76) Seventy Six, on the map or plot drawn
by William C. Miller of what is generally known as the "Leitner
lands": Which Said "Leitner lands" consist of lots No (8) Eight and
(9) nine of the Moses E. Levy Grant according to the Survey of
Burr and Washington- - the Said part of lot No (76) Seventy Six
being described and bounded as follows viz=
                                           Commencing at
the South West Corner of said lot No (76) Seventy Six and run-
ning Northward along the west boundary of said lot No (76)
Seventy Six, twenty (20) Chains:- thence East along the North
boundary line of said lot No (76) Seventy Six, Eight (8) chains
to a stake:- and thence West along the South boundary of
Said lot No (76) to a Stake at the point of
Starting: - the above described lot containing Sixteen (16)
acres more or less =|
Together with all and Singular the tenements, hereditaments and
appurtenances, thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining,
and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents
issues, and profits thereof; and also all the estate, right, title,
interest, property, possession, claim and demand whatsoever
