Alachua County } Peace in and for said County persona-
ally came Elias Earle and Mary L. Earle wife of the Said
Elias Earle to me well known and Severally acknowl-
edged that they signed the foregoing conveyance for the
purpose therein Contained and the said Mary L.
Earle being examined by me Separate and apart from hir
said husband declares that She Signed the Same freely
voluntarily and without fear or compulsion of hir
said husband, in testimony whereof I have hereunto

Certificate }
No 2873 } Whereas Henry Adams of Alachua County
Florida has deposited in the General land office of the United
States, a certificate of the Register of the Land office at New-
nansville whereby it appears that full Patent has been made
by the Said Henry Adams according to the provisions of the Act of
Congress of the 24th of April 1820, entitled, "An Act making
further provision for the Sale of the public lands" for the
South East Quarter of the South West Quarter of Section
five, and the North East Quarter of the North West Quar-
ter of section Eight in township nine South of Range
twenty two East, in the District of Lands subject to Sale at
Newnansville Florida Containing Seventy Eight acres
and ninety Seven hundredths of an acre according to
the official plat of the Survey of the Said lands, returned
to the General Land Office by the Surveyor General, which
said tract has been purchased by the Said Henry Adams
Now Know Ye, that the United States of America, in
Consideration of the premises, and in conformity with
the Several Acts of Congress in Such Case made and pro-
vided, Have given and granted, and by these presents Do Give
and Grant, unto the Said Henry Adams and to his heirs, the
Said Tract above described; To have and to hold the Same together
with all the rights, privileges, immunities and appurtenances
of Whatsoever nature thereunto belonging, unto the Said Henry Ad-
ams and to heirs and assigns forever
In testimony Whereof, I, Franklin Pierce President of the
United States of America have Cased these letters to be
made Patent, and the Seal of the General Land Office
