State of Florida } This memorandum of agreement made
Alachua County   } and entered into this 4th day of January
AD 1876 between William Mills of the State and County afore-
Said of the first part and Dr M.B. Harrison & J.H. Harrison in their own
right and as executors of Dr James Harrison deceased of the
Said State & County of the Second part: Witnesseth, that the Said
party of the first part for and in Consideration of the
premises hereinafter mentioned hath agreed and by these
presents doth agree to plant out in Orange trees, and Cul-
tivate (20) twenty acres of Land belonging to & owned by the
Said party of the Second part, Situated on what is known
as "Black Point" on Lot number one 1 of the Moses E.
Levy Grant, the Said Orange trees to be planted one half in rows
                         + one half in rows thirty apart each way 
(25) twenty five & 30 feet apart each way^(Rows running at right
angles with each other) The Said planting to be Completed
within (5) Five years from the first day of January AD 1876 -
at the end of which time the Said party of the first part
agreed to deliver to the Said party of the second part afore-
Said twenty (20) Acres of land under a good fence in a
good State of Cultivation and having therein a full Stand
of Growing & thrifty Orange trees, and the Said party of the
first part further agrees to plant out at least four (4) acres of
aforesaid Twenty (20) acres, in accordance with the foregoing Stip-
ulations each year counting from the first day of January 1876
until the planting of the whole (20) twenty acres Shall have been
completed, and the Said party of the first part further agrees
that in case he Shall from any Cause fail to Carry out
and perform his part of this agreement for any one of the
(5) years he will and Shall for that year pay rent at the cus-
tomary rates,
              And the Said party of the Second part agrees to let
the Said party of the first part have the use of Thirty (30) acres of
land for and during the term of Five years above mentioned
free of all rent and of all other Consideration than the
faithful performance of this agreement, the Said thirty (30)
Acres of land to consist of the above mentioned twenty (20)
acres and then (10) other acres adjacent thereunto Provided
always that the Said party of the first part Shall faithfully
perform his part of this agreement - And the Said party
of the Second part further agrees and binds himself at the
end of the above mentioned term of five years and in Consid-
eration of faithful performance of this agreement by the Said
party of the first part to make or Cause to be made unto the
Said party of the first part, good and Sufficient title deads
to Forty (40) acres of Land described as follows: - to wit: -
commencing at the point where the Eastern boundary line
of lot Number 1 of the Moses E. Levy Grant enters
Paynes Prairie, Thence running Southward along Said
Eastern boundary line   Chains and    links to a     thence
due west to the eastern boundary line of the above men-
