County of Alachua } This Indenture made and entered into
this 26th day of November 1876 between John C. Ley and
Martha S. Ley his wife of the one part and Henry E. Pardee  
of the other part, Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the
Sum of Seven hundred ($700) Dollars to the party of the first part
in hand paid by the party of the Second part the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, the Said party of the first part
hath bargained Sold and doth hereby Convey unto the party of
the Second part all that Certain lot or parcel of land known and
described as Lot No 19 township four (4) Range one (1) of the lands
Sold by Joel B. Smith to the East Florida Seminary and accord-
ing to the Survey of Said lands lying in the Village of Micanopy
and Containing one acre more or less: to have and to hold the
above described and granted lands with all and Singular the rights
improvements and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise
appertaining to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the
Said party of the Second part his heirs executors and and
assigns in fee Simple forever. And the Said party of the first
part hereby covenants to and with the Said party of the second
part, he is Seized in fee of the above described and granted
premises and every part thereof and that he will and his
heirs executors & Administrators Shall warrant and defend
the titles to the Same to the Said party of the Second
