This Indenture, Made and entered into on this twentieth
day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight
hundred and Seventy Seven, between John McRae of the
City of Wilmington, State of North Carolina, Surviving
Trustee, duly appointed by the Florida Rail Road Com-
pany, party of the first part, and Gilbert Gay of the
Alachua County State of Florida party of the Second
part, Witnesseth:
That the Said party of the first part, for and in Consid-
eration of the Sum of Three hundred and twenty
Dollars to them in hand paid by the Said party of the
Second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowled-
ged, hath given granted aliened bargained Sold trans-
ferred; and doth by these presents give grant alien
bargain Sell transfer and Convey unto the Said party
of the Second part, all that Certain parcel or tract
of land lying and being in the County of Alachua
State of Florida, and more particularly known and
described on the public records and maps of Said
State as the East half of Section fifteen in township
ten South of Range Fifteen East, Containing Three
hundred and twenty Acres more or less (E1/2 of Sec 15
T10 S R15 E 320a)
To have and to hold the above described premises together
with all and Singular the rights and privileges, im-
munities, easements and appurtenances thereunto belong-
ing, or in any wise appertaining, unto the Said party of
the Second part, and to his heirs, as their absolute
property in fee Simple forever. And the Said party of
the first part, for himself and Successors, as Trustees
as aforesaid, and for the Said Florida Rail Company,
and for all others claiming by, through or under
him or them, doth Covenant and agree that he is
Seized, as Trustee, of a good and indefeasible fee
simple to the above premises, and that he has good
right to Convey the Same, as he has Conveyed the Same,
free and discharged from all encumbrances and liens
of any and every nature and description created by
himself or his co Trustee, James T. Soutter, now deceased;
And that the Said party of the Second part, his heirs
