Courts of law; and further to transact all their business of whatever
nature and character, and to receive for his Services commissions on all
Sums received & paid out, the Same as allowed by law for Administrators
& Guardians, to wit = three per cent for receiving and three per cent for
paying out all sums, giving and granting unto my said Attorney
full power and authority to do and perform all and every act and thing
whatsoever requisite and necessary to be done on and about the premises,
as fully to all intents and purposes, as I might or could do, if personally
presents; hereby ratifying and confirming all that my Said attorney
Shall lawfully do cause to be done by virtue hereof In Witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 14th day of November AD 1877

This Indenture, made the first day of November in the Year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and Seventy seven between Sarah R. Barnes and Louis A. Barnes
her husband who Joins in this deed for the purpose of approving and ratifying
the action of his wife in the premises parties of the first part and Walter S. Land
party of the second part, Witnesseth, that the said parties of of the first part for and
in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty ($150) Dollars lawful money
of the United States of America, to them in hand paid by the said party of the
Second part, at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, remised, released, conveyed,
and confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, Sell, Alien, remise, release, convey,
and confirm unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns
forever, all of one half of her one third interest in the hammock land conveyed to
her by William Dixon Lewis, in the South west quarter of section twenty two (22)
Township ten (10) South, Range twenty East on this day - November the first
AD 1877 Togather with all and singular the tenements hereditaments, and
appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion
and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof;
And Also, all the estate, right, title, interest, property, possession, claim
and demand whatsoever, as well in law as in equity, of the said parties
