                  Relinquishment of Dower
State of Florida }
Columbia County  }  Know all men by these presents That we Eliza Duren
                    and Elizabeth Simmons wives of J.W. Duren and Harvey Simmons
grantors in the foregoing Deed conveying real Estate, for and in consideration
of the premises in said Deed mentioned and of one dollar to us in hand paid
by Mary E. Furman, Grantee in said Deed mentioned, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, have remised, released, relinquished, renounced, and by
these presents do remise, release, relinquish, renounce and forever quit claim
unto the said Mary E. Furman, all our Dower and right of Dower in and
to the lands in the foregoing Deed mentioned and conveyed, To have and to
hold the same unto the said Mary E. Furman her heirs and assigns
forever; and we do hereby acknowledge that we do the same freely and
voluntarily, and without any compulsion, restraint apprehension or fear of
or from our husbands.

          Separate Acknowledgment
State of Florida }
Columbia County  } Be it Remembered, That on this the first day of
                  November AD 1877, personally came before me an acting
Justice of the Peace Eliza Duren and Elizabeth Simmons the respective
wives of J.W. Duren & Harvey Simmons, who upon an examination by me,
held separate and apart from their husbands acknowledged that they did
make, sign and seal the foregoing renunciation, relinquishment and
acknowledgement, freely, voluntarily, and without any compulsion, constraint
apprehension or fear of or from their said husbands.
