County of Alachua } To All Whom it may Concern, Be it known that on
this third day of December AD 1877 personally appeared
before me, a Judicial officer of the State of Florida the aboved named Sarah A. Gardner
to me well known as the wife of J.C. Gardner and as one of the persons
described in, and who executed, the foregoing Deed of Conveyance who being
at the time separate and apart from her husband the said J.C. Gardner
did then and there make and execute the foregoing acknowledgment,
her name being with her own hand subscribed, and her seal affixed
in my presence

Know all men by these presents, That the State of Florida, for and in consideration
of the sum of one dollar & twenty five cents per Acre paid by Samuel J. Kennard of
the County of Alachua State of Florida, hath granted, bargained and Sold and
Doth by these presents Grant Bargain Sell and convey unto the said
Samuel J. Kennard and his heirs and assigns forever, the following described
Lands to wit: The North East Quarter of the South West Quarter and the
South West Quarter of the South East Quarter of Section Sixteen in
Township Eight South of Range Twenty one East, Containing Eighty
acres, and lying and being in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida
To have and to hold, unto the said Samuel J. Kennard and his heirs
and assigns forever in fee simple
In testimony Whereof I Hugh A. Corley
( ) Register of Public Lands for the State of Florida have
( LS ) hereunto subscribed my name and caused an impression of
( ) the seal of my office to be made thereupon, at the Capitol
in the City of Tallahassee on this 26th day of April AD 1861
