County of Alachua } Know all men by these presents that we James D. Matheson
and James T. McMillan both of the State and County aforesaid as trustees for the
creditors of the estate of John W. Anderson deceased, for and in consideration of the
Sum of One hundred & Sixty five Dollars to us as such Trustees in hand paid,
the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted, bargained, Sold
and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto
Wilmot C. Smith of Cortland County, State of New York, the following
described Lands, which we hold for sale as Trustees for certain Judgment
creditors of the Estate of said John W. Anderson deceased, to wit: All that
certain piece, parcel or tract of Land situated, lying and being in the
County of Alachua and State of Florida designated upon a map or plat
of The Leitner Lands as they are popularly known, as Lot Number
Sixty three (63) said map or plat having been drawn and made
by W.C. Miller, the same being situated on lot or Section no Eight
(8) of the Moses E. Levy Grant as the same is subdivided and
designated upon the well known map of "The Arredondo Grant" made
by Burr and Washington containing Forty (40) (including Land
and water) acres more or less. To Have and to Hold the
Same to him the said Wilmot C. Smith his heirs executors
administrators and assigns in fee simple forever
   In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our Hands
and Affixed our seals on this 9th day of November AD 1877

duly Sworn says that he saw J.D. Matheson and James T. McMillan
sign seal and deliver the foregoing deed of conveyance for the uses and
purposes therein expressed and that he together with I. Backer
signed the same as subscribing witnesses thereto
