State of Florida } Whereas by an order of the County Court the undersigned was
Alachua County   } appointed Commissioner for the sale of the lands belonging to the
                   Estate of Wiley S. Bennett deceased late of said County for the purpose
of paying the debts due and owing by said estate: & whereas the said lands
were duly advertised in terms of the law, and whereas I did as said Commissioner
expose the lands herein after described to the highest bidder before the Court house
door in in the town of Gainesville on the 3rd day of December AD 1877 and whereas
William W. Parish did become the purchaser for the same at the sum of Fifty
Dollars: Now therefore in consideration of Fifty Dollars to me in hand
paid by the said Wm W. Parish the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
I do as said Commissioner give grant bargain and sell unto the said Wm W.
Parish all that certain piece or parcel of land lying & being in said State & County
and described as follows: The N1/2 of lot (3) and South 1/2 of lot two (2) of
Section thirty (30) Township Eight (8) south Range 20 East, containing
Eighty acres more or less
To have and to hold the above described property unto the said Wm W. Parish
his heirs Executors or administrators forever In Testimony Whereof I have
hereunto set my hand as Commissioner this Dec 4th 1877

duly sworn says that he saw Isaac Johns sign seal and deliver the
foregoing deed for the uses and purposes therein expressed and that he

Alachua County   } This Indenture made and entered into this Dec 4th AD 1877
                   between Wm W. Parish of said State & County and
Matilda Bennett of the same State & County parties of the first & second part
Witness that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration
of the sum of Fifty Dollars to him in hand paid by the party of the second
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby give grant
bargain & Sell unto the said party of the second part, All that certain
piece or parcel of land lying and being in said State & County and Known
and described as follows: The North half of lot three (3) and the South
half of lot two (2) of Section thirty (30) Township Eight (8) South
Range twenty (20) east, containing eighty acres more or less, together
with the tenements and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise 
appertaining
To have and to hold the above described premises unto the Said party
