Know all men by these presents that we James B. Dawkins and Carrie
T. Dawkins for and in consideration of two hundred and fifty Dollars
to us in hand paid in Town Scrip have bargained & sold & by these
presents do grant bargain & sell and convey unto the Town Council of
Gainesville & their successors in office for the use of a public high way
all that portion on the north part of the Lot upon which we reside in the
Town of Gainesville being twenty six feet N & S by three hundred & eighty
feet E & W To have and to hold the same unto the said Town
Council & their successors in office
