This Indenture, made the 13th day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and Seventy seven, Between James James G Dell and Agnes W Dell his wife,
and Mary R Green widow of William H Green all of the county of Duval and
State of Florida of the first part, and Amanda K Hodges wife of Edwin D Hodges
of Alachua County in said State, in her own right party of the second part,
Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the Sum of
Six hundred and twenty five Dollars lawful money of the United States of America, to
them in hand paid by the said party of the second part, at or before the ensealing
and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have
granted, bargained, sold, aliened, remised, released, conveyed, and confirmed, and by
these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, remise, release, convey and confirm unto the
said party of the second part and her heirs and assigns, forever, all the following
described lands lying and being in the said county of Alachua and State of Florida
described as follows: South West Quarter (SW1/4) of Section twenty Seven (27)
South East & South West quarters (SE & SW qrs)of Section twenty eight (28)
North East quarter (NE1/4), & North East quarter (NE1/4) of South East quarter (SE1/4)
of Section Thirty three (33); and the North West quarter (NW1/4) & West half (W1/2)
of South West quarter (SW1/4) of Section thirty four (34) all in Township Seven (7)
Range Eighteen (18) South & East (S & E)excepting from this conveyance
Such lands of the above described as even allotted & belonging to Mary K Dell
widow of James G Dell Senior and set apart under the order of the Judge of
Probate of Duval County appointing Commissioners for that purpose under date of
April 18 1861, the above named grantors James G Dell and Mary R Green
being the only children & heirs at laws of James G Dell Senior deceased.
Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder
and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof And also the estate right, title,
interest, dower, and right of dower, separate estate, property, possession, claim and
demand whatsoever, do well in law as in equity, of the said parties of the first part,
of in, and to the same, and every part and parcel thereof, with the appurtenances,
unto the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns, to her & their own proper use,
benefit and behoof forever. And the said parties of the first part for themselves
their heirs, executors, and administrators, do covenant, promise, and agree to and
with the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns, that the said parties of
of the first part at the time of the sealing and delivery of these presents, an lawfully
Seized in fee simple of a good absolute, and indefeasible estate of inheiritance, of and in,
all and singular the above granted, bargained, and described premises, with the
