and did pursuant to Said levy and advertisement and the Statutes
in such cases made and provided, Sell the Same at public Auction
before the Court House door in the Town of Gainesville in the County and
State aforesaid on the said 5th day of November AD 1877 between the legal
hours of Sale and at said Sale Jesse H. Goss and J. Kennard became
the purchasers of the property hereinafter described for the Sum of Sixty
($60\00) Dollars, that being the highest and best sum bid for the same and
they being the bidders thereof: Now therefore know Ye That I the Said
S.C. Tucker Sheriff as aforesaid, under and by virtue of the Statutes in
Such cases made and provided and for and and in consideration
of the said sum of Sixty ($60\00) Dollars to me in hand paid by the
Said J.H. Goss and J. Kennard the receipt whereof if hereby acknowledged
have by these presents granted bargained Sold and conveyed unto the
Said J.H. Goss and J. Kennard and to their heirs and assigns
forever all the following property lying and being in
Alachua County State of Florida and particularly known and
described as follows to wit so much of the E 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of
Section twenty one (21) & W 1/2 of NW 1/4 of W 1/2 of SW 1/4 of Section
twenty two (22) & NE 1/4 of Section twenty Eight (28) & W 1/2 of NW 1/4
E 1/2 of NW 1/4 & NE 1/4 of Section twenty Seven (27) T7 R18 S&E that lies East of a
certain stream or branch known as the "Townsend Branch" and the E 1/2 of
SE 1/4 & SW 1/4 of SE1/4 of Section twenty two (22) & W 1/2 of SW 1/4 & SE 1/4 of SW 1/4 &
W 1/2 of SE1/4 of Section twenty three (23) & NW 1/4 of Section twenty six (26)
T7 R18 S&E containing in all one thousand (1000) Acres more or less
together with all and singular the rights privaliges tenements and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining
To have and to hold all and singular the above described lands
and premises together with the appurtenances unto the said
parties of the second part and to their heirs and assigns in fee
Simple as fully so as I the said S.C. Tucker, as Sheriff as aforesaid
under and by virtue of the said writ of Fieri Facias and the levy,
advertisement and sale thereunder made, as, by the Statutes in such
cases made and provided might could or ought so to convey and
Sell the same. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
Seal this 5th day of November AD 1877
