Alachua County   } This Indenture made the Nineteenth day of December
AD Eighteen hundred and Seventy Seven between Joseph M. Thomas party
of the first part and Mary F. Shaw, party of the Second part all of the State
and County above written. Witneseth: That the party of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of Four hundred dollars lawful money of the United
States, to him in hand paid at or before the Sealing and delivery of these
presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged; hath bargained and
Sold and by these presents doth bargain Sell convey and confirm unto
the said party of the second part; her heirs and assigns forever all that
certain piece or parcel of land lying and being Situate in the County of
Alachua State of Florida, described by United States Survey as follows,
The West half of the South west quarter of Section Twenty Six and the East
half of the South East quarter of Section Twenty seven Township Eight
South of Range Eighteen East containing One hundred Sixty acres
more or less. Together with all and Singular the hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and reversions remainders
rents issues and profits thereof and also all the Estate right title and
interest of said party of the first part either in law or in equity of in or
to the above described premises and every part or parcel thereof and the
party of the first part will forever warrant and defend the title of the above described
premises, to the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns in
fee Simple. In witness whereof the said party of the first part
have hereunto set his hand and Seal the day and year above
