Alachua County   } This Indenture made this the 16th day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Seventy Seven
between M.A. Carn David H. Carn and L. Chevy Carn of the Village
of Gainesville State & County aforesaid of the first part and
Marvin S. Payne of the State of Florida and County of Marion
of the second part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration
of the Sum of fifty dollars to them in hand paid at and
before the sealing and delivery hereof; the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged the Said Partys of the first part hath
bargained Sold given granted and Conveyed and by these
presents doth so bargain Sell give grant and Convey unto
Said party of the Second part all that certain parcel or lot
of Land Situated in the Village of Micanopy State & County
before written, and known and described as follows that is
to say Beginning Six feet from the South East Corner of the
building known as the Masonic Lodge running South fronting
on the public Square twenty feet thence west one hundred feet to the lot
on which John H. Cosby lived thence twenty feet North thence
one hundred feet to the point of beginning being the lot which
was occupied by Payne & Carn. To Have and to hold the above grant
ed premises together with all and Singular the appurtenances
thereunto attaching and all the estate title and interest
of the partys of the first part therein or to the Same in any
wise appertaining or belonging unto said party of the Second
part his heirs and assigns in fee Simple forever and the Said par-
tys of the first part doth hereby covenant and agree with Said party
of the second part that at the sealing and delivery of these presents
the said partys of the first part is the lawful owner of the prem
ises aforegranted, that we are seized thereof in fee Simple
absolute and that we will and our heirs executors and
administrators Shall warrant and defend the abovegranted
premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the party of
the second part his heirs and assigns forever
