Know all men by these presents that we T.W. Andrews and wife
Annie E. Andrews of the County of Randolph & State of North
Carolina & Calvin Cagle & wife Emeline Cagle of the County of
Montgomery & State of North Carolina have made, constituted
ordained & appointed & by these presents do make constitute
ordain and appoint J.W. Spencer of the County of Randolph
& State of North Carolina to be our true sufficient & law-
ful attorney for us & in our name & stead to proceed to
the State of Florida & there to sell all the right title & interest
in & to all the lands in the County of Alachua & State of Flori-
da which descended to the undersigned Annie E. Andrews
& Emeline Cagle from their father Nathan Spencer at
his death, provided always that he shall sell said inter-
est at the sum of not less eight hundred dollars each
& at a sum not less than for which he shall sell his own
interest in the said lands, and we do further authorize
& empower our said Attorney, upon making sale of
said lands as aforesaid in our name & stead to sign
execute seal & deliver to the purchase all such deeds
or deeds of conveyance as may be proper and necessary
to convey & assure to such purchaser or purchasers & his or
their heirs a good & indefeasible estate of inheritance in & to
our individual interest in said lands & to do all lawful
acts & things whatsoever concerning the premises as fully &
effectually in every respect as we might or could do were we
personally present.
In testimony whereof we the said T.W. Andrews & wife Annie
E. Andrews, Calvin Cagle & wife Emeline Cagle do hereunto set
our hands & seals this 14th day of December AD 1877.

Be it known that on this the 20th day of December AD 1877 before
me A.M. Diffee Judge of the Probate Court of said County person-
ally came T.W. Andrews and his wife Annie E. Andrews and
severally acknowledged that they signed sealed and delivered
the foregoing power of attorney from them to J.W. Spencer and
