Alachua County } Whereas I Louis A. Barnes Sheriff of Alachua County Florida
under and by virtue of sundry writs of Fieri Facias issued out of the Circuit
Court for the Fifth Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida in and for Alachua
County in favor of James S. Turner and others and against James H. Roper
and to me as such Sheriff directed and delivered I was commanded to levy
upon and sieze the property hereinafter described as the property of the
Said J.H. Roper the Defendant in said sundry Executions, and whereas
I the said L.A. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid under and by virtue of the
Executions aforesaid, did levy upon and seize the property hereinafter
described as the property of the said J.H. Roper the Defendant in said
Executions and did duly and legally advertise the same for
Sale on the Seventh day of February AD 1878 to satisfy said
Executions and whereas I the said L.A. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid
pursuant to said levy and advertisement and the Statutes in such
