cases made and provided, did sell the same at public auction before
the Court House door in the Town of Gainesville in the County and
State aforesaid on the said seventh day of February AD 1876 between
the legal hours of Sale and whereas at said Sale Bartlett S. Foster
became the purchaser of the property hereinafter described for the sum of
two dollars --------- Dollars that being the highest and best sum
bid for the same and the said B.S. Foster being the bidder thereof: ---
   Now therefore know ye, That, I, the said L.A. Barnes, as Sheriff as
aforesaid, under and by virtue of the Executions aforesaid and the levy
advertisement and sale thereunto made and for and in Consideration
of the sum of two Dollars to me as such Sheriff in hand paid the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted bargained sold
and conveyed and by these presents do sell grant bargain sell and
convey unto the said B.S. Foster and to his heirs and assigns forever
all that certain Lot or parcel of land, lying and being situate in the
County and State aforesaid in section four (4) Township ten (10)
Range Twenty (20) S&E and particularly known and described as
follows to wit; lots 13 thirteen & 15 fifteen in Range one (1) Block
two (2) as Shown in Ropers addition to the town of Gainesville
Florida. To have and to hold unto him the said B.S. Foster and to
his heirs and assigns forever as fully and effectually as I the said
L.A. Barnes as Sheriff as aforesaid might could or ought to sell and
convey the same In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand
and seal this tenth day of February AD Eighteen hundred and Seventy
