me W.A. Dickinson to me well known and acknowledged that
he executed the foregoing deed for the purposes therein ex-
pressed, whereupon it is prayed that the Same may be record-

This Indenture, made the third day of December in the year
of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Seventy Seven between
Cornelius Avera and his wife Ida Avera of the State of Florida
and County of Alachua of the first part, and Sarah A. Gard-
ner wife of J.C. Gardner of the same State & County party of
the second part, Witnesseth that the Said parties of the first
part for and in Consideration of the Sum of fifteen hun-
dred Dollars lawful money of the United States of America
to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part
at, or, before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained
sold released aliened remised Conveyed and Confirmed and
by these presents do grant bargain Sell alien remise release

Convey and Confirm unto the^party of the second part and
her heirs and assigns forever all of that Certain piece or
parcel of land lying and being in the town of Gainesville
Florida and distinguished as follows: A fractional portion
or part of the south half of Section five (5) Township ten (10)
South of Range twenty (20) East: Commencing at the South
East Corner of the lot of Horace P. Langley thence South two
hundred feet thence West Four hundred 400 feet thence
North two hundred feet (200) thence East Four hundred (400)
feet to the place of beginning:- Containing two (2) acres of land
more or less
Together with all and Singular the tenements, hereditaments
and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining,
and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents
issues and profits thereof: And also all the estate, right, title, in-
terest property, possession claim and demand whatsoever, as
well in law as in Equity, of the said parties of the first part of
in and to the Same and every part and parcel thereof with the
appurtenances: To Have and to Hold the above granted, bar-
gained and described premises, with the appurtenances
unto the said party of the second part her heirs and
