This Indenture made, this the 30th day of January in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Seventy Eight be-
tween Mary E. Furman and Charles D. Furman her husband
who joins in this deed for the purpose of approving the
acts of his wife of the County of Alachua and State of Florida
parties of the first part and Milton S. Whiteside of the Same
County and State party of the second part part
Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first^for and in
Consideration of the Sum of Four hundred ($400) dollars to
them in hand paid by the said party of the second part,
at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained
Sold released granted conveyed and Confirmed and by
these presents do bargain sell release grant Convey and
Confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns, forever, all that Certain piece of parcel of land
Situate and lying in the County and State aforesaid and described
by the United States Survey as follows viz = the East half of the
South West Quarter of the North East Quarter of Section twelve
nine (9)
(12) township ten (10) South Range twenty (20) East Containing
twenty acres more or less It is agreed between the parties to
this deed that a slip twenty five feet wide across due North
and South Ends of said discribed lot shall be exclusively
and perpetually reserved and used for road purposes
And it is further agreed that in the event of them being
