State of Florida } This Indenture made on the    in the
Columbia County  } year one one thousand eight hundred
and Seventy Eight between Ezekiel P. Hickson and Annie
P. Hickson his wife of the first part and Caroline Johnson
and Levi H. Johnson of the Second part witnesseth, That
for and in consideration of the Sum of One thousand
Dollars to them in hand paid at and before the Sealing
and delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby ack
nowledged the Said parties of the first part have given
granted bargained Sold and delivered and by these
presents do so give grant bargain Sell and deliver to
the Said party of the Second part the following named
and described
^plantation or parcel of land "Viz" 260 2/100 two hundred
and Sixty 2/100 acres in the North West Quarter of the lot
of land known as the Moses E. Levi grant in lot num
ber (11) eleven also the reserve from the South West Quarter
of Same number Sold to Moses Freyermouth and known
as the Wells field, Also that part of the North East quarter
of lot No eleven of the twenty thousand acre grant
formerly owned by Moses E. Levi and latterly belonging
to James A. Turner bordering on what is known as the
Freerson pond begining at an Oak Stake on the South
ern line of Said North East Quarter running in a North
direction to the blazes thence on the blazes to the line
dividing Said North East Quarter from the North West
Quarter of Said lot and grant to three blazed trees, an
Elm an Oak and an Ash, This blazed line to Stand only
until a road can be made west of where the fence Stood when
deeded from said Turner to said Hickson it being the
established line between the North East Quarter and North
West Quarter of said lot and grant Situate in the County
of Alachua and State of Florida. To have and to hold the
before described premises to the party of the Second part
     heirs and assigns as against us our heirs and assigns
