Alachua County   } This Indenture made and entered into
this 7th day of November AD 1877 between S.B. Wilks and Lu-
rana Wilks his wife of the County of Alachua and State of
Florida of the first part and and Jas W. Russell and
Will T. Ogburn of Said County of Alachua and State of
Florida of the Second part Witnesseth that the parties of
the first part for and in Consideration of the Sum of
One hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the
parties of the Second part the reciept of which is
hereby acknowledged, do by these presents grant
Bargain remise alien & Convey and Confirm unto
the parties of the Second part and to their heirs and
assigns forever all of the following described parcel
of land lying and Situated in the County of Alach
ua and State of Florida to wit: A portion of the South
West Quarter of Section Six (6) Township Nine (9) South of
Range twenty two (22) East described as follows to wit
Beginning at a Stake in the East line of the Arredondo
Grant running thence west 100 Poles to a Stake thence North
80 poles to a pine tree thence East 100 poles to a Stake in the
Said Arredondo Grant line thence South with said line 80 poles
to the beginning Containing forty five acres more or less
Together with all and singular the hereditaments thereunto be
longing or in anywise appertaining. To have and to hold
the Same with the said parties of the second part their heirs
and assigns forever and the Said S.B. Wilks and his wife
Lurana Wilks for themselves and their heirs do hereby Cov-
enant and agree to and with the said parties of the second
part their heirs and assigns that they will warrant and
forever defend the title to the said lands and appurtenan
ces and every part and parcel thereof unto the said parties
of the second part their heirs and assigns against the law
ful claims of any and all persons whatsoever
