of the Peace for Said County S.B. Wilks and his wife
Lurana Wilks with whom I am personally acquaint
ted and acknowledged that they executed the fore-

and apart from her said husband and and
     For the purpose of relinquishing her dower to the above described
acknowledged that she executed the foregoing deed^of

her own free will without fear or Compulsion from her

Alachua County   } Thise Indenture made this the twenty
third day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand
Eight hundred and Seventy Eight between James Cason & his
wife Lucy Cason parties of the first part and Jacob I. Holbrook
the party of the Second part all of the State & County aforesaid
Witnesseth that the aforesaid parties of the first part for and
in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred and twenty dollars
to them in hand paid the receipt whereof are hereby duly
granted hath bargained Sold and Conveyed and by these
presents doth bargain Sell and Convey all of that Certain tract
or parcel of Land lying and being in Said State and County
viz the NW1/4 of NW1/4 of Section (9) nine in Township (7)
Seven South, Range (19) nineteen East, to have and to hold unto
the aforesaid party of the second part his heirs and assigns
forever together with all and singular of the apertainances
with every thing in any wise belonging thereto, and the aforesaid
parties of the first part by these presents doth warrant
and defend the aforesaid granted premises unto the afore
said party of the second part his heirs and assigns and
against themselves their heirs and assigns and all other
