says that he saw Sarah Spencer and J.W. Spencer sign seal
and deliver the foregoing deed of conveyance for the use
and purposes therein contained and expressed and that
he together with Joseph Voyle signed the same as sub

This Indenture made this ninth day of February
in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and
seventy eight between Sarah Spencer and James W. Spencer
of the town of Gainesville in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida of the first part and Samuel Leonard and
      minor children of A.H. Leonard
Dilly Leonard^of the Town of Gainesville aforesaid of the
second part
         Witnesseth that the said parties of the
first part for and in consideration of the 
sum of Two hundred and twenty dollars
($220.00) to them in hand paid by the said
parties of the second part before the ensealing
of these presents, the receipt whereof is here
by acknowledged, have bargained sold re-
leased granted and conveyed and by these
presents do bargain sell release grant
convey and confirm unto the said parties
of the second part their heirs and assigns
forever all that certain tract or tracts known
and described as follows, fractional lots No 24 &
41 & 43 & all of lots 44, 49 & 50 containing twenty
five acres and seventy seven hundredths of an
acre (25 77/100) in Nathan Spencer's division of the North
half of section six (6) Township ten (10) South of
Range twenty east lying and being situate in the
County of Alachua and State of Florida.
Together with all and singular the tenements heredi-
taments and appurtenances thereto belonging or in
anywise appertaining and all the estate right title
interest property possession claim and demand
whatsoever as well in Law as in equity of the said
parties of the first part and every part and parcel
thereof:
