E.T. Hawthorn & wife to James M. Hawthorn
                 "Deed"
This Indenture, Made the 29th day of June anno-
Domini Eighteen hundred and Seventy nine Between
Elijah T. Hawthorn and Harriet R. Hawthorn his wife
of County of Alachua and State of Florida parties of the
first part and James M. Hawthorn of County of
Alachua and State of Florida party of the Second
part: Witnesseth: That the said parties of the first part
for and in consideration of five 00/100 ($5) Dollars to them
in hand paid by the said party of the second part the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have given granted
aliened bargained sold transferred and do by these pres-
ents give grant alien bargain sell transfer and convey
unto the said party of the second part and his heirs and
assigns forever all of a certain Lot Tract or Parcel of -
Land situate lying and being in the County of Alachua
and State of Florida and known and described on the
public Records of said County and upon the Platts of
the United States Surveys as the North West Quarter of the
South West Quarter and the South West Quarter of the North
West Quarter of section twenty six (26) in township ten (10)
south of Range twenty two (22) East except Seven 56/100 acres formerly
sold and conveyed to Deacons of Baptist Church known
as "Pleasant Grove" Church which Church is located upon
said 7 58/100 acres & Except a lot of one acre situate in SW1/4
of the NW1/4 of Sec 26 known as lot 10 or Franzot lot for-
merly conveyed to one Franzot and except one acre
in the NW1/4 of SW1/4 of Sec 26 known as lot 2 or Stringfellow
lot. Also the South East Quarter of SE1/4 and the West half of
the South East Quarter and the South West Quarter
of section twenty two (22) and the South half of the North
West Quarter and the North West Quarter of the South
East Quarter and the and the East half and South
West Quarter of the South West Quarter of section
Twenty Seven (27) and a tract of four and one half
acres located in the South East corner of the North East
Quarter of the South East Quarter of section twenty Seven
in township ten (10) South Range twenty two (22) East contain
ing in all five hundred and ninety Seven 30/100 acres more
or less. Together with all and singular the tenements hered
itaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging and
also all the estate right title interest dower and right
of dower property claim and demand whatsoever
as well in law as in equity of the said parties of the
first part of in and to the same with the appur-
tenances.
