P.H. Young To George W. Sparkman
State of Florida } "Deed"
Alachua County   } This Indenture made and entered into
this nineteenth day of August AD 1879 between P.H.
Young and Kate R. Young his wife (who joins in
this deed for the purpose of renouncing relin-
quishing and extinguishing all her right of
dower in and to the property herein after described
and conveyed) of the first part and George W. Spark-
man of the second part all of the State and
County aforesaid; Witnesseth That the said parties of 
the first part for and in consideration of the sum
of Three hundred dollars paid by the said party
of the second part to the said parties of the first
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained sold and conveyed and 
by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey
unto the said party of the Second part all that
certain lot tract piece or parcel of land lying
and being situate in the State and County aforesaid
and in the town of Gainesville and particularly desig-
nated on the Map or Plat of said town of Gaines-
ville as the North East Quarter of Lot number (3)
Three in Block (3) three of Range (4) four said North East
Quarter of said Lot being one hundred (100) feet North
and south by Thirty (30) East and west. Together with
all and singular the tenements hereditaments and ap-
purtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertain-
ing To have and to hold unto the said party of the second
part and to his heirs executors administrators assigns
in fee simple absolute forever and the parties of
the first part do hereby covenant and agree with the
said party of the second part that they are seized of
and have good right and sufficient title to convey
the said premises and the said parties of the first
part do by these presents for themselves their heirs
executors and administrators warrant and agree
to forever defend the title of the said property in
and to the said party of the second part his heirs
executors administrators and assigns against all
and every person or persons whomsoever lawfully
claiming or to claim the same
In testimony whereof the said parties of the first
part have hereunto set their hands and affixed
their seals the day and year first above written
