levy upon and Seize the property herein after described
and did by virtue of said writ and pursuant to
the statutes in such cases made and provided
duly advertise said property for sale on the 5th
day of February AD 1877 and did on that day sell
the same at public auction in accordance with the
law to James B. Brown for the sum of five hundred
dollars that being the highest sum bid for the same
Now therefore know ye that I the said Louis A. Barnes
as Sheriff aforesaid under and by virtue of said
writ of Feiri Facias and the levy and Sale there under
made as by the statutes in such cases made and
provided for and in consideration of the sum
of Five hundred dollars to me in hand paid by the
said J.B. Brown party of the second part the receipt
of which is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained and sold and do by these presents grant
bargain and sell unto the said J.B. Brown party of
the second part and to his heirs & assigns forever all
the following described property to wit: Two (2) acres
of land more or less with house on it in the Suburbs
of Newnansville bounded on the West by lands for-
merly owned by James Exley and on the South East
and North by lands owned by James Pendarvis. The
place formerly owned and occupied by Samuel B. McLin
and afterwards sold to Mary E. Dell said lot lying
on road leading from Newnansville to Lake City. Together
with all the right title interest and equities which the
said F.P. Olmstead as administrator of Mary E. Dell
deceased had of in or to the same. To have and to
hold as fully as I the said Louis A. Barnes as
Sheriff afforesaid might could or ought to sell
and convey the same
