This Indenture made and entered into on this the Sixth
day of June in the year of Our Lord one thousand 
Eight hundred and Seventy nine Between the Florida 
Land and Immigration Company a body Corporate 
under the laws of the State of Florida party of the 
first part and Charles E. Nickerson of the town
of Linden County of Cass and State of Texas
party of the second part Witnesseth that the Said 
party of the first part for and in Consideration 
of the sum of Fifty Dollars lawful money of 
the United States of America to it in hand paid 
by the said party of the second part at or before 
the ensealing and delivery of these presents the 
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has 
given granted aliened bargained sold 
transferred Conveyed and Confirmed and does 
by these presents give grant alien bargain 
sell transfer remise release Convey and Confirm 
unto the said party of the Second part and to his 
heirs and assigns forever all that Certain 
tract or parcel of Land Situate lying and being 
in the County of Alachua and State of Florida 
and known and described on the public Maps 
and records of said State as the South East Quarter 
of the South East Quarter of Section Twenty
Eight in township Eight South, of Range twenty 
one East Containing Forty acres more or less 
(SE1/4 of SE1/4 Sec 28 T8 S R21 E)
To have and To hold the above granted bargained 
and described premises together with all and Sin-
gular the rights and privileges immunities easements 
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise 
appertaining unto the Said party of the Second 
part and to his heirs and assigns as his and their 
absolute property in fee Simple forever.
And the Said Florida Land and Immigration Com-
pany for itself and assigns and for all others 
Claiming by through or under it does Covenant and 
agree that at the time of the execution and 
delivery of these presents the Said Company is Seized 
of a good and indefeasible fee Simple of the 
above premises and has good right to Convey 
the same as it has Conveyed the Same free 
and discharged from all incumbrances and 
liens of any and every nature and description 
and that the said party of the Second part
