Alachua County   } This Indenture made this first
day of July AD 1879, between James B. Brown and
Martha B. Brown his wife of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida of the first part and Henry
Jackson of the same County and State of the sec-
ond part. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first
part for and in consideration of three hundred dollars
paid by the party of the second part, Hath bargained
sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant
bargain sell and convey to the said Henry Jackson
his heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece or
lot of land in the town of Gainesville Alachua County
- Florida being block No Two (2) of North West
quarter of section Five (5) Township ten south (10s)
Range twenty East (20E) in Browns addition to Gaines-
ville containing Ten (10) acres less fifteen feet on
each side left for streets to have and to hold the
same together with all and singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances and all and Singular
the estate title and interest of party of the first part
therein and the said party of the first part doth hereby
covenant and agree with the said Henry Jackson
that at the time of the delivery hereof said party
of the first part are the lawful owners of the
premises of the above granted and that they will
warrant and forever defend the same against all
persons hereafter claiming or to claim the same
