sonally known who acknowledged to me
that they had executed the foregoing deed to
John Parsons & L.B. Parsons for the purposes
therein stated and I further Certify that the
said Mattie Cannon & Fannie Fontane having
been first examined by me privately and apart
& separately from their husbands, to wit John W.
Cannon husband of said Mattie & Benj W.
Fontane husband of said Fannie acknowledged
to me that they renounced & relinquished all
their right and title to dower in the lands con-
veyed in said deed freely & voluntarily & with-
out any compulsion constraint apprehension
or fear of or from their said husbands

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
that on the 16th of September 1879 Mary E. Furman &
Charles D. Furman party of the first part of the County
of Alachua and State of Florida for and in con-
sideration of the Sum of Twenty dollars to them in
hand paid by Susan H. Loomis party of the second
part of Portland and State of Maine the receipt where-
of is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and
sold and do by these presents grant bargain sell and
convey unto the said Susan H. Loomis said party of
the second part and by these presents do bargain sell
release grant convey and confirm unto the said party
of the second part her heirs executors administrators
and assigns forever the following described lot tract
or parcel of land situate lying and being in the

section 12 Township 9 Range 20 of County of Alachua
and State of Florida, to wit: Two acres of from the North
end of lot 8 described as follows viz the west half
of the North West Quarter of the North West quarter
