right of dower in and to the premises conveyed in
the foregoing deed made by them and James Doig
and Wm H. Robertson to Ann B. Shannon and
dated the 19th day of November 1877 freely
and voluntarily and without any compulsion
constraint apprehension or fear of or from
their husbands and also appeared before me
James Doig and Francis W. Doig and Wm H-
Robertson and Margaret E. Robertson and acknowl-
edged that they had executed the said deed for
the purposes therein stated

County of Alachua } This Indenture made and enter-
ed into this the thirteenth day of September Anno
Domini Eighteen Hundred and Seventy nine between
Ann B. Shannon and Joseph A. Shannon her hus-
band parties of the first part and Margaret Howard
party of the second part Witnesseth that the said
parties of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of Four hundred Dollars to them paid
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have
granted bargained and sold and by these pres-
ents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the
party of the second part all that tract or parcel
of land known and described on the Map of Voyles
survey of 1876 as lots Seven (7) and Ten (10) Block
Two (2) of an Eastern addition to the town of Gaines-
ville County of Alachua and State of Florida.
To have and to hold to the said party of the second 
part her heirs and assigns with the rights and ap-
purtenance thereto belonging and the title to the
same the parties of the first part to the party 
of the second part her heirs and assigns
shall and will forever warrant and defend by
these presents, In witness whereof we have here-
unto set our hands and seals this the day
and year aforesaid =
