appeared before me Walter S. Land to me
well known as the person described in
and who executed the foregoing deed of
conveyance and acknowledged that he exe-
cuted the same for the purposes therein ex-
pressed whereupon it is prayed that the same
may be recorded In witness whereof I have
hereunto affixed my hand and seal this

Sarah R. Barnes To Walter S. Land
             "Deed"
This Indenture made this the Eleventh day of
October in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and Seventy nine between
Sarah R. Barnes and Louis A. Barnes her hus-
band who joins in this deed for the purpose of
ratifying the action of his wife (Sarah R. Barnes)
in the premises of the County of Alachua and
State of Florida parties of the first part and Walter
S. Land of the County of Alachua & State of Florida
party of the Second part Witnesseth, That the said
parties of the first part for and in consideration of the
Sum of One hundred dollars to them in hand paid
by the said party of the second part at and before the
ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained
sold released granted conveyed and confirmed and
by these presents do bargain sell release grant convey
and confirm unto the said party of the second
part his heirs and assigns forever all that certain
piece or parcel of land situate Lying and being in
Alachua County & State of Florida and known and
described as follows, to wit: Commencing at a Red
Bay tree about one hundred and Seventy eight (178)
feet from brink of "sink hole" in NE direction
thence a little South of East about one hundred (100)
feet more or less across the water to the big bason
or sink around a knoll thence South and west by
