Mary E. Furman To William Lowe
                "Deed"
This Indenture made this the third day of April
in the year of Our Lord one thousand Eight hun-
dred and Seventy nine between Mary E. Furman
and Charles D. Furman her husband of the
County of Alachua and State of Florida
parties of the first part and William Lowe
of Chicago Cook Co Illinois party of the Second
part.
    Witnesseth That the said parties of the
first part for and in Consideration of the
sum of Two hundred dollars to them in
hand paid by the said party of the second
part at and before the ensealing and delivery
of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have bargained Sold released
granted Conveyed and Confirmed and by these
presents do bargain Sell release grant Con-
vey and Confirm unto the said party of
the second part his heirs and assigns forever
all that Certain Parcel of land described as
follows The West half of the North West Quar-
ter of the South West Quarter of Section
twelve township nine Range twenty Situated
in the County of Alachua and State of Florida
and known as lot twenty four as Shown on a
plat of said section divided into twenty acre
lots Containing twenty acres more or less -
Provided always that the said William Lowe
or his heirs or assigns shall never sell or lease the
above described lands or any part thereof to a person
or persons of color Also that no intoxicating liquors
shall ever be sold or used on said land as a
beverage by any person or persons whom soever
nor shall he knowingly allow any games of Chance
as a Practice on the said lands and it is expressly
agreed that if the above provisions or any one of
them is violated then these lands revert back to
said Mary E. Furman or her heirs or assigns
Otherwise this transfer remains good reserving
therefrom the North and South Sides each
twenty five feet feet for a public highway
Together with all and singular the tenements hered-
itaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging
or in anywise appertaining and all the estate right
title interest property possession claim and
demand whatsoever as well in Law as in Equity
