with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the
said party of the second part and his heirs and
assigns as their absolute property in fee simple
forever, and the said E.T. Hawthorn for himself and
his heirs and assigns does covenant and agree that
he is lawfully Seized of the above described premises
by deed from James M. Hawthorn bearing date 1870
and that he has and that he has conveyed the same
free and discharged from all encumbrances and liens
of any and every nature and description created
by himself and the said party of the Second part
his heirs and assigns shall quietly and peaceably
enjoy the above described premises against all per-
sons whatsoever lawfully claiming by through or
under the said parties of the first part.

A Notary Public of Florida personally appeared
Elijah T. Hawthorn and Harriet R. Hawthorn on this
29th of June AD 1879 who Severally acknowledged that
they executed the foregoing Deed and I further certify
that the said Harriet R. Hawthorn being at the time
separate and apart from her said husband did ac-
knowledge under her hand and seal that she executed
the foregoing deed of conveyance to James M. Hawthorn
and that she joined in the said deed for the purpose of
relinquishing and renouncing all dower or right of dower
in and to the premises described therein and that said re-
linquishment and renunciation of dower was and is
made fully and voluntarily and without any com-
pulsion or constraint apprehension or fear of or from
her husband the said Elijah T. Hawthorn
